Dr Susan Tyfield (M.Tech.Chiropractic)

Susan qualified with an M.Tech.Chiropractic from the Durban University of Technology in 2006. She then had a private practice in Grahamstown South Africa for four years. There she got experience in treating a wide range of people in her small university town community, from athletes in rowing and cricket to the elderly, actors and musicians.

In 2011 she moved to Brisbane with her partner. Once in Australia she qualified further by passing the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia’s board exams. She worked for 6 years in both a suburban family practice and a more fast-paced CBD practice in Brisbane before moving to Sydney in 2017.

Susan has a special interest in treating chronic pain patients for whom she shows a lot of patience and empathy. But her passion is in treating athletes, both in sports and performing arts. She is an evidence-based practitioner who remains up to date on recent studies and protocols in managing musculoskeletal injuries.

She is a member of Chiropractic Australia and the Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare.
